Day 4–5: Along the Dalmatian coast, we drove via Split and Sveti Jure to Dubrovnik, where we took a well-deserved rest day. The old town with its mighty city walls, palaces, and the Stradun is a real must-see.
Day 6–8: Further south via Montenegro to Albania: spectacular views at Kotor Fjord, Skadar Lake National Park, the Llogara Pass, and beautiful bays near Ksamil. Afterward, via the Ionian Coastal Road to Greece – with an overnight stay in charming Kastraki at the foot of the Meteora rocks.
Day 9–12: The return journey led through Albania, Montenegro, and Bosnia. We experienced Lake Ohrid, panoramic routes through the mountains, Durmitor National Park with Tara Canyon, and finally the historic Mostar with its famous Stari Most bridge.
Day 13–16: Back on the Croatian coast via Tribunj, Zadar, Pag Island, and Opatija, then via Carinthia and the Grossglockner to home. A fitting conclusion with Alpine panorama and awesome motorcycle routes.
